Projects

Each laboratory group will be further divided into teams of 4-5 students to research a topic related to the course. An example of such a project would be the evaluation of the current state of development of short wavelength lasers for next generation CDs. Topics for projects will be distributed in lab. Each group will give a 8-10 minute presentation of their work to other students in the same lab day (ie. all Monday groups) on the first or second day of study week.
