Safety All students must attend Environmental Health & Safety's lab safety training session before working in the lab. This is offered in the department at the beginning of each academic year and includes several of EH&S's courses in one day. If you need to begin work before you can attend, a videotape of a previous session is available. Chemical Safety Guidelines for working in the lab. Emergency/Accident Procedures Extensive safety information can be found in the binder labeled Cornell University Chemical Hygiene Plan which is located in the hallway outside room 258. This contains the hygiene plan as well as the following documents:
