  • 2008 Summer Ski Hut Seminar was successfully held on July 26th-27th.
  • Our article Self-Assembled Monolayers and Polymer Brushes in Biotechnology: Current Applications and Future Perspectives was one of the most-accessed articles published in Biomacromolecules in 2007.
  • Our group was invited to write a research news article for Advanced Materials on important contributions toward the field of molecula glass photoresists.
  • Our group was invited for a highlight about anti-biofouling surfaces on J. of Mater. Chem..
  • Ann Delvin, first graduate of Ober group, came to Cornell to address MSE undergrads about careers in the polymer industry on Oct. 24, 2007. Her presentation was very much appreciated by the MSE 307/407 students.
  • Dr. Wageesha Senaratne (Corning Inc.) was chosen as the most promising scientist by Science Spectrum magazine. Dr. Senaratne's extensive knowledge of organic materials and biochemistry has resulted in the development of several novel materials since she joined Corning Inc. after graduating in 2005.
