  The Brock Group's primary research focus is using x-ray diffraction techniques to probe specific processes that occur in the solid state of materials. Specifically we focus on the kinetic processes occurring during Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) of complex oxide thin films. The Brock Group is one of the primary users of the G3 Hutch at the Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source (CHESS) shown in the photo below.
