Fracture mechanics, fatigue, experimental mechanics,
finite element analysis, snowboard testing
I have performed a number of consulting jobs for companies
ranging in size from one person to multinationals. These jobs
have included measuring impact temperatures at high speed using
our unique infrared system, nonlinear analysis of transient thermal
stresses using both finite element and analytical methods, high
temperature fatigue fracture of superalloys, and failure
analysis. I have also been working on testing and test methods for
snowboards and snowboard components.
