Postdoctoral
position:
We
seek a postdoc with a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science, Physics,
Egnineering, or other nano-related physical fields. The primary
responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the
development of a novel magnetic sensor to be used in the biomedical
industry. The project involves development of materials/processing for
ultra-low-noise magnetic tunnel junctions, and characterization of
device properties. Experience working with thin films is
required. Experience working in a clean-room environment, using CAD
software, and signal processing is desirable.
Position
available: (expected) Summer 2008.
Postdoctoral
position:
We
seek a postdoc with a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science, Physics,
Chemistry or related fields. The primary responsibilities include
synthesis of complex oxide thin films by cosputtering and electrical,
optical and structural characterization of the films. Familiarity with
thin film deposition and basic characterization techniques is required.
Experience with advanced characterization techniques such as microwave,
FTIR, or Raman, is desirbale.
Position
available: immediate.
